The Smithsonian American Art Museum's "The Art of Video Games" Exhibit will feature music by 8 Bit Weapon and Computeher!

We are proud to announce 8 Bit Weapon and ComputeHer's music will be featured in the forthcoming "The Art of Video Games" exhibition at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington DC! "The Art of Video Games" will explore the 40-year evolution of video games as an artistic medium. Both 8 Bit Weapon & ComputeHer will have a combined total of 5 songs being used in a soundtrack at the entrance to this historic exhibition. 8 Bit Weapon's songs, "The Art of Video Games Anthem" and "Miami Dub Bounce" off the new album "Bits with Byte" are used as well as "Chip on your Shoulder." ComputeHer's songs, "Twilight Byte" and "Dark Pub" from her album "Modemoiselle" are also featured. We are profoundly honored to participate in such an important exhibition. Our Commordore 64 Goes to the Smithsonian!

Our Commodore 64 will be on display in the Smithsonian Museum of American Art! We were truly honored that the exhibit curator, Chris Melessinos, asked to use our C64. The C64 pictured here will be one of many vintage computers and consoles displayed during the "Art of Video Games" Exhibit coming March 26, 2012!

We made the Big 10 in PlayStation the Official Magazine!

The article mentions that the 8 Bit Weapon boombox has gone viral and is pumping out the jams across the grid on Sony PlayStation's "Home" social network! Greetings Programs, we are packing up our favorite chipmusic instruments and heading out for our "Disko Apocalypse Tour" this summer! Come with us as we take our new live show to New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, and more! The tour will be spread out over several months. Official "Disko Apocalypse Tour" dates and locations will be posted here as they are confirmed.

We are funding the tour ourselves, but we are about $2000 short. This is where you come in, we need to raise money to cover our remaining tour expenses. We have gigs lined up across the USA and its just a matter of funding to get to each of them.

We teamed up with the renowned M.J. Mahon to create a revolutionary performance synth for the Apple II computer:

Introducing the Digital Music Synthesizer for Apple II personal computers! The DMS is the only wavetable synthesizer for the Apple //e, IIc, and IIc+ computers that is suitable for performance use. It supports up to 8 voices, which can be selected from the 10 on disk, and played (monophonically) from the Apple II keyboard. It can be used to “record” a performance for later playback as well.

Sony Releases 8 Bit Weapon Loop Library and EP!

Coming Spring 2009 Sony Creative Software will be releasing our 8 Bit Loop Library and a Special Digtial Downloadable EP of new music! The library covers Apple II, Commodore 64, NES, Gameboy, and the Atari 2600. Each system library has everything from drums, bass and synth to special effects. Happy New YEAR!

8 Bit Weapon is ready for 2009 with a new line-up, new logo, and lots of new tunes! While MelBot is taking a music break to get her Masters Degree, Computeher and I are writing new material together and plan to release something very special later this year. We will also be releasing Silo 64 as well as another top secret music project release...

ComputeHer is working on her new solo album as well!

BIG NEWS!

The time is near. 2 big shows coming up in the next two weeks. The first is this Friday in Pasadena at the Terrace for FEEL GOOD FUSION. This show will also be filmed for a possible DVD release. Come by and be a part of history!

BIG NEWS FOR 2008!

There are a lot of amazing things coming down the pipeline this year. The King of Kong DVD has two 8 Bit Weapon tracks on it which will be available this coming Tuesday. Not only that but ComputeHer, Melbot, Treewave and others are also in the Bonus Section of the DVD as well.

I've also got 3 new albums releasing this year. The first of which will be the Silo 64 soundtrack. After that I will be releasing the long awaited Confidential 2.0 album!!! The last album will be announced later this year and is a super secret project that I've been working on.
